The public is invited to bid farewell to Larimer County Manager Frank Lancaster on his last day of Larimer County government service. Lancaster has touched the lives of many Larimer County residents over his dedicated 31 years with Larimer County.

The event takes place on May 11 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Hearings Rooms, 1st floor, Larimer County Courthouse Offices Building at 200 West Oak St. in Fort Collins.

Frank Lancaster is a Colorado native who grew up in Wheat Ridge. He holds a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Management, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Horticulture from Colorado State University.

Lancaster began service with Larimer County as the county forester then moved on to director of natural resources, interim county administrator and, in 1994, county manager. Lancaster is a credentialed manager by the International City/County Managers Association.

Lancaster’s next adventure takes him to the post of town administrator for Estes Park, where he begins employment later this month.
