The North Fork Weed Coop will host a Land Stewardship workshop on July 14 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Red Feather Lakes POA, 58 Firehouse Lane, in Red Feather Lakes.

Erica Goad, a graduate student in Human Dimensions of Natural Resources at Colorado State University will present an overview of her research on wildlife activity and wildlife habitat in the watershed of the North Fork. Pine beetle and fire both bring about ecosystem disturbance which disrupts wildlife habitat and provides opportunities for invasive weeds.
