the Coalition for the Poudre River Watershed at a meeting to discuss the
Elkhorn Unit 4 prescribed fire and the subsequent Elk Fire. Representatives
from The Nature Conservancy, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office and Office of
Emergency Management, Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control, Larimer
Emergency Telephone Authority, the US Forest Service, and other partners will
be present. The Division
of Fire Prevention and Control is conducting the official review of the
incident, which they do not expect to be complete until early 2020. In the meantime, CPRW would like to invite
the community to a public meeting to better understand how to work together on
forest management in the Poudre watershed. RSVP
