Poudre School District offers suicide prevention training for parents

PSD parents interested in learning how to help people at risk for suicide may want to attend a QPR suicide prevention training, a 1 hour and 30 minute training that teaches participants the three-step QPR (Question, Persuade and Refer) method.

This training covers warning signs, how to recognize people at risk for suicide, intervention skills, how to talk to and assist people at risk for suicide, referral resources, myths and facts related to suicide and more.
