In honor of the two-year anniversaries of the High Park Fire, the Lower North Fork Fire and the Waldo Canyon Fire, a group of women who have been impacted by wildfires will be sharing their stories and poems on Sunday, June 22 at 11 a.m. at Jax Outdoor Gear (outside at the pond), 1200 North College Ave. in Fort Collins.
The event honors women across Colorado who have experienced Colorado wildfires. Some of the stories and poems that will be shared will be featured in the upcoming book “Phoenix Rising: Stories of Remarkable Women Walking through Fire” (Morgan James Publishing, New York).
