Calling all kids, get your costumes ready for Wellington’s Annual Trick or Treat Down Main Street Event! Families head to downtown Wellington from 3-5 pm on Halloween, October 31, for a safe event the whole family can enjoy.

Are you a business owner interested in participating in this fun annual downtown event? There is a form for that! Contact Kallie with the Wellington Main Street Program or Mary with the Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce for more details.  The deadline to sign up is October 15. You don’t need to be a downtown business to participate.

This year’s route begins at the corner of 4th Street and Cleveland or 1st Street and Cleveland, where attendees receive a free reusable Trick or Treat Bag. Huge thanks to the twenty local business sponsors who donated to the offering of these bags.

Face coverings are encouraged for all attendees and folks asked to practice safe social distancing. Generous local businesses will be handing out candy to attendees outside, as there will not be trick or treating inside downtown businesses this year. Please do not attend the event if you are sick or have been around someone who is ill.
