Poudre Fire Authority Moves Into New Station 7 in LaPorte

It’s official—Poudre Fire Authority has moved into its brand-new Station 7 in LaPorte! On April 21, the flag was raised and A-shift firefighters began their first shift at the upgraded facility. Replacing the original 1976 station, the new site is designed for modern fire and water rescue response. Celebrate this milestone at the grand opening on June 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with station tours, engine exploration, local snacks, swag, and more. 14-Year-Old Killed in Greeley Townhome Shooting

A 14-year-old was killed in a shooting at the Sunlight Townhomes in Greeley on April 21. Police arrested another juvenile in connection with the incident, which they say was isolated and poses no further threat to the community. The identities of those involved are not being released due to their ages. Juvenile Suspect in Fort Collins Mall Shooting Charged as an Adult

A juvenile suspect arrested in the deadly April 5 shooting outside Fort Collins’ Foothills Mall is now facing adult charges, including two counts of first-degree murder. Ivan and Luis Arreguin, ages 37 and 27, died from their injuries. Bryan Gallegos, 16, was arrested April 6 and faces multiple charges. Police continue to seek additional information.
