In Fort Collins, summertime is synonymous with an abundance of outdoor activities. Due to organizations like BeetStreet, there’s never a shortage of things to do and getting bored just isn’t an option in our lovely city. Everyday brings something new and exciting to keep you busy. Whether it’s getting a beer at one of our local breweries, riding bikes around the city, or catching one of the numerous free concerts, there’s something for everyone.  This summer will be no exception with the return of Streetmosphere, a concert series put on by BeetStreet.  Over the past four years since Streetmosphere’s first appearance in 2010, close to 2,000 performances and 500,000 attendees have experienced these fantastic and eccentric local shows, and it’s growing every year. BeetStreet’s mission is an admirable one, as they hope to establish Fort Collins as a nationally recognized art and culture destination with the goal to distinguish it as a city that fosters and helps to develop and inspire creativity. The performances are spontaneous, turning whole blocks at a time into a live show experience. Since the genres vary broadly from jazz to bluegrass, to live poetry and rockabilly funk, there’s literally something for everyone. This year, Fort Collins can look forward to performances throughout the entire month of July, occurring in five simultaneous locations. The concerts occur on Fridays from 4:30 to 8:30pm, Saturdays from 12:30-8:30pm and Sundays from 12:30-4:30pm.
So grab some friends, family and brews and head to one of the many shows occurring this summer. You wont regret it!
