The International Keyboard Odyssiad & Festival USA comes to Griffin Concert Hall, University Center for the Arts, August 1-5 featuring internationally renowned pianists for five riveting evening concerts all held at 7:30 p.m. Kenneth Broberg, 2017 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition Silver Medalist, 
Aug. 1. 
Atlantis Piano Duo returns by popular demand, Aug. 2. Croatian pianist Kemal Gekic performs Aug. 3. Twenty-one-year-old Chen Guang, 2016 Olga Kern International Winner, Scriabin Prize, and Rome Prize is on Aug. 4. 
Vadym Kholodenko, 2013 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition Gold Medalist rounds out the festival on Aug. 5.
The competition and festival also features more than a dozen guest artists and pianists in daily master classes and presentations, mini-recitals, and live semifinal and final rounds of the Olympic-styled Odyssiadź Competition. odyssiad.com.

On August 11 the renowned rock/roots band, Cracker will perform on the Bohemian Nights Library Park Stage in Fort Collins, 9 p.m. Free.

Americana artist Bo DePeña will perform at Swing Station in LaPorte, August 12. Somewhere between the concrete jungle of New York City and the dirt road expanse of the West, resides the “American Roots” music of Laredo, TX native Bo DePeña. With a blended sound of blues, country, folk, and hints of rock ‘n roll, the singer, songwriter, and performer is a troubadour, telling the tales of America’s backbone. Since 2014, Bo has performed in 22 states and more than 65 cities across the United States. He has released two full-length albums (There’s No Way Out Of Here (2014); Crash My Car (2016)) and just released his third album, Long Road to Denver (2017). Lyrically, his music cuts to the root of human experiences in urban and rural areas, painting images of longing, rediscovery, and the journey back home. Bo’s powerful voice and vibrant stage presence takes his audience on a rollercoaster ride of emotion, suspense, and humor. He shies away from passivity and entertains his audience with a gritty, authentic, and playful energy.

Fort Collins Museum of Art (MOA) presents ReDress: Upcycled Style open now through Oct. 22. Organized by Nancy Judd, the exhibition features couture fashion sculptures made from everyday throwaways and glamorous evening gowns made from crushed glass and salvaged upholstery fabric. Nancy Judd began creating recycled fashions when she was recycling coordinator for Santa Fe, New Mexico. Through her art she encourages people to look differently at trash; to see garbage not as waste, but as wasted resources. There are a number of events scheduled in connection with the exhibit, Aug. 17 through Oct. 19. They include lectures, a transforming T-shirt workshop, film screenings and a sustainability tour and beer tasting. See the Fort Collins Museum of Art website for details. Barbara Gilhooly and Ayn Hanna’s stitched textile drawings, wire orbs, wire doodles and wall art sculptures are featured in the MOA lobby through Oct. 22.
