Jeanne Gardner Clark, 79, died Feb. 22 at her home in Eaton.
Jeanne was born in Independence, Mo., to Jack and Fae Gardner. She graduated from high school in Omaha, Neb., and nursing school in Imperial Valley, Calif.
On Dec. 22, 1951, she married Joseph G. Clark in Omaha.
Mrs. Clark worked as a nurse at Pioneers Memorial Hospital in Brawley, Calif., for more than 30 years. In 2003, she moved with her family to Eaton.
Jeanne volunteered at the Red Feather Lakes Library and Assistance League. She loved cooking, knitting, reading, and spending time in Red Feather Lakes.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. Joseph G. Clark of Eaton; sons John C. Clark and his wife, Norma, of Erie, Ill.; and Charles G. Clark of Fort Collins; daughters Diana Clark and her husband, Tom Zdeb, of Vista, Calif.; Debora J. Seaton and her husband, John, of Fox Lake, Ill.; and Dr. Elizabeth Clark of Eaton; and four grandchildren.
