Linda Dodds of Wellington passed away Aug. 8, 2015 in her home from illness.
She was born in Humboldt, Neb., on Jan. 30, 1951 and was baptized at the Humboldt Methodist Church on Palm Sunday of 1963. Larry Dean Dodds and Linda Carol Herr were married on Nov. 14, 1970, in the same church where Linda was baptized.
Linda was known to all who met her as being sharp as a tack with an enormous love for the Lord. her knowledge and wit will be sorely missed by all who have had the pleasure of being in her life. If anyone had a question, she was always prepared with an answer and made the time to share it. Linda was always humble, caring and forthright. She lived and left this life on her own terms. The world will be less colorful without her in it.
Linda is predeceased by her grandparents, Henry and Alma Herr, and J.C.W. and Zelda Hawkins. She is also predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Lois (Jackie) Herr, and her brother, Stan Henry.
Linda will be missed by her husband, Larry, of Wellington, and her three sons, Luke Stan, Ben Raymond and Mark Herman. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Kyle, Wesley, Oliver and Laurel.
Memorial was held Aug. 15 at Zion Lutheran Church in Wellington. Interment was at Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Nance County, Nebraska.
