Lucille M. Kraft, the daughter of Christ and Margaret (Schuppe) Roth, was born April 14, 1930 in Sterling and passed away on Oct. 7, 2016 in Fort Collins.
On Aug. 22, 1948 she married Albert Kraft, who preceded her in death in 2013. Together they owned and operated Kraft Farms in Fort Collins.
Lucille is survived by her two daughters, Karen (Kraft) and Bob Habel, Fort Collins; Shelley (Kraft) and David Kooser, Colorado Springs; and one son, Robert and Ronelda Kraft, Fort Collins. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Zach Habel; Jennifer (Kooser) Robinson, Jeff and Jamie Kooser; Brian and Jason Kraft and Heidi (Kraft) Anderson; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother Don Roth; sister Marge Murray; and sister-in-law Leona Schick.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson Michael Habel; sister Betty Kiel Rhodes; and brothers Elmer Roth and Bill Roth.
Lucille was a life-long resident of the Fort Collins and Windsor areas. She was women of dignity and grace, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who always put the needs of her family and friends before her own. She worked tirelessly on the family farm and always made sure those who entered her home never left hungry. Lucille took great pride in her very large garden, always raising a bumper crop that many appreciated and benefited from. She was an avid reader who relished memorizing and telling funny jokes or stories. Lucille and Albert enjoyed polka dances, visiting with friends and occasionally taking a vacation. She was a devoted Christian and member of the Timberline Church Family.
The family would like to thank Caring Senior Services, Pathways Hospice and the staff at UC Health Cancer Center for their wonderful care.

A celebration of Lucille’s life was held Oct. 24 at Timberline Church in Fort Collins.
