Tom Lee McKellep, 48, died peacefully in his sleep at home in Fort Collins on June 17, 2013.
Tom was born Feb. 9, 1965, in Wausau, Wisc., to Gary and Marilyn McKellep. Tom graduated from Poudre High School. Tom’s career was plumbing. He got his master license and started his own business. His hobbies were many, but car restoration was his passion, especially his ’56 Chevy. His son will drive it proudly.
Tom is survived by his family in Fort Collins including his wife, Connie; son Austin; sisters Carol (Allen) Hendrix and Kim (Kevin) Millward; and his best friend and brother, Mark. Tom also had nieces and nephews, extended family and many caring friends. In his death he will be reunited with his parents and grandparents.
Tom will be dearly missed. You were not a stranger for long around him. His sense of humor and willingness to help were some of his amazing qualities.
Services were held at Peace with Christ Lutheran Church in Fort Collins on June 22. A memorial contribution fund has been set up in Tom McKellep’s name at First National Bank.
