Before heading off on their summer tour of festivals, parades, fairs and other events across the country, the Budweiser Clydesdales’ West Coast Team will be at home in Fort Collins to rest up. But before their journey begins, the public is invited to view and take pictures of the iconic horses from June 13-22.
Visitors to the Fort Collins Brewery Tour Center are welcome to bring their cameras and get a photo with the Clydesdales. They are also welcome to take a free brewery tour and sampling for adults 21 and older. For more information: www.Budweisertours.com.
The Anheuser-Busch Fort Collins Brewery Tour Center is at 2351 Busch Drive (I-25 / Mountain Vista Dr. — Exit 271).
Anheuser-Busch’s Budweiser Clydesdales make hundreds of appearances each year. The Clydesdales are an American icon and one of the world’s most recognized corporate symbols.
To qualify for a hitch, a Clydesdale must be a gelding at least four years of age, stand 72 inches at the shoulder when fully mature, weigh between 1,800 and 2,300 pounds, have a bay coat, a blaze of white on the face, four white legs, and a black mane and tail.
