The 19-year-old rapper, Curci, has released his first full-length album entitled Forever Summer. The album is exactly what you would expect from a debut rap album. Just like your freshman year of college, it starts off a little uneasy but soon eases into something familiar. Curci’s style could be compared to G-Easy or Hoodie Allen. The album lives up to its title, with the beats being perfect for a lazy summer day by the pool or a summer night filled with drinking with friends. The song, “Fire,” seems like it was made for summer. The majority of this album takes to the form of hipster/stoner rap. Although there are a few uninspired songs, there are some gems on this album that are definitely worth listening to.
