Click to DonateStudents and parents will be taking part in the EagleFit Duathlon at Wellington Middle School on Friday, Sept. 21, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
School counselor Bill Peisner said this is the first time the school’s Healthy Kids Club has sponsored the run-bike-run event.
“We’ll start with a 0.6 mile run on the streets around the school, then a 1.8 mile bike ride, then another 0.6 mile run,” Peisner explained. “It’s a good thing for parents and kids to do together.”
And there will be music and pizza after the event – another good thing for parents and kids to enjoy together.
