Visitors to The Gardens on Spring Creek will be treated to a festive holiday light show from December 2- 31, 5 to 9 p.m. daily. Tens of thousands of LED lights will brighten The Gardens and its whimsical residents. Visitors will also be delighted by the glowing flowerbed and everyone’s favorite koi, Kobe, in his blue pond — all created from LED lights.
• Friday, Dec.2: 5 – 7 p.m.: Fort Collins mayor Karen Weitkunat will welcome everyone to the opening of Garden of Lights. Following Mayor Weitkunat, Claudeen Jean, the most popular Labrador retriever in Fort Collins, will turn on the lights and Rocky Mountain High School’s Prima Voce will entertain with holiday carols. Shop at Gifts from the Gardens, the annual plant and gift sale—open until 8 p.m.
• Saturday, Dec. 3, 6 – 8 p.m.: Visit with Santa and enjoy the Sugar Plum Hairies (canine fairies performing tricks). Shop at Gifts from the Gardens, the annual plant and gift sale—open until 8 p.m.
• Sunday, Dec. 4: 6 – 8 p.m.: Cookie decorating for the family in the classroom.
• Friday, Dec. 9, 6 – 8 p.m.: The Sunny Side Singers perform holiday favorites.
• Saturday, Dec. 10: 6 – 8 p.m.: Visit with Santa and enjoy the Sugar Plum Hairies (canine fairies performing tricks).
• Sunday, Dec. 11: 6 – 8 p.m.: Visit with Santa. Cookie decorating for the family in the classroom.
• Friday, Dec. 16: 6 – 8 p.m.: The Liberty Common School choir will carol throughout The Gardens.
• Saturday, Dec. 17: Visit with Santa and enjoy the Sugar Plum Hairies (canine fairies performing tricks).
• Sunday, Dec.18: Visit with Santa. Cookie decorating for the family in the classroom.
• Friday, Dec. 23: Cookies and hot beverages provided by Food for Thought Catering.
