Forget the ghosts and goblins…imagine fairies, furry friends and everything fun at the Gardens on Spring Creek, 2145 Centre Ave, at the fifth annual Halloween Enchanted Garden on Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Planned especially for children ages 2 – 8, the day will be jam packed with Halloween amusement for the kids, which is always fun, never frightening. Admission is $3 per child at the door. Children are encouraged to wear their costumes for the event.
A variety of attractions in the Children’s Garden are planned:
• Claudeen Jean “the Reading Retriever” will read Halloween stories and do tricks;
• Tim Foolery will perform Halloween magic – always fun, never frightening;
• CSU Gillette Entomology Club will be showing fuzzy, furry, and hissing insects;
• Hide and seek in our Hay Maze;
• Halloween sing-a-longs, seasonal crafts, and stories;
* Pumpkin & pirate bowling; and,
• The legendary Talking Pumpkin.
