Smooth guitar, bluesy riffs and a touch of Bob Dylan and country, Jeff Finlin takes you on a cross country journey in his Live Songs for the Ice Age album. Since it is a live recording you get to listen to his pure talent. Through his songs he talks of love, salvation, freedom, “beauties in blue jeans” and something we can all identify with – drinking. Listeing to this album all you want is a nice cold beer, maybe some shots of whiskey, some friends, and to simply have a down home time. Finlin takes you from the blues path onto the rock and roll road and keeps on traveling from there. This is the kind of album you take with you on a summer night, play it loud as you dance and have one of those easy going, relaxed nights.
