The Board of Larimer County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on the topic of Roberts Ranch on Monday, Feb. 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the hearing Room, 1st floor, Larimer County Courthouse Offices, 200 West Oak St. in Fort Collins.
The Board is expected to make a decision on accepting the 16,500-acre gift known as the Roberts Ranch located in the Livermore Valley in north-central Larimer County. The offer comes from Catherine Roberts, owner of the active cattle ranch. The Roberts Family homesteaded the Ranch in 1874. The Board will be considering a recommendation from the Larimer County Open Lands Advisory Board, citizen and other input they have received.
