The Board of Larimer County Commissioners is seeking applications for the position of Larimer County Clerk & Recorder.
Applications are available online and will be accepted until the close of business on April 24—the job announcement and criteria for the position have already been posted on the County’s website.
The Larimer County Clerk & Recorder is an elected position which will be available May 3 when current Clerk & Recorder, Scott Doyle, retires. Doyle is in his third four-year term as Clerk & Recorder.
“State statute does not set qualifications for the post”, said County Manager Linda Hoffmann, who added, “We’re looking for someone with experience in managing elections, recording real estate documents and processing motor vehicle registrations. This person also needs to live in Larimer County.”
The Larimer County Board of Commissioners expect to be ready to appoint a new Clerk & Recorder shortly after Doyle leaves office. Doyle has already appointed an acting deputy clerk to take over between his departure and the arrival of a new Clerk & Recorder.
Please contact the Commissioners Office for further information at 970-498-7010.
