The Larimer County Dive Rescue Team is looking for qualified, professional candidates who are highly motivated and are eager to serve the community in the challenges of the aquatic environment. Applicants must have an interest in public service and ability to function as part of a highly skilled team of rescue professionals.
Larimer County Dive Rescue Team is looking for individuals with any of the following experience: water rescue, dive rescue, commercial divers, military divers, recreational SCUBA, EMT, Paramedic, law enforcement, or simply people with a big heart for helping people in their time of need.
The Larimer County Dive Rescue Team will be doing some advanced swift water rescue training starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22 where they will be expanding on their skills learned in basic swift water rescue training. They’ll be training to improve their self-rescue skills, advanced boat operations, and search techniques on the Poudre River. Anyone interested in learning more about the team and how they train for doing swift water rescues is invited to attend any or all of the training activities.
