Rodeo girls, get ready for a fun-filled ride! 2013 Larimer County Fair & Rodeo Queen, Savannah Cay Martinez, will be hosting the 2013 Rodeo Queens Clinic on June 20 at The Ranch in Loveland. The event is free and open to girls of all ages, and starts at 4:30 p.m.
Girls will learn what it takes to become a rodeo queen from professionals in the rodeo world. Savannah will have much to share about all the hard work and dedication it took her to become this year’s rodeo queen.
Horsemanship will start at 4:30 p.m. in the Longhorn Arena. Horse etiquette will be addressed by Amanda Deerr-Miller, professional horse trainer and riding instructor.
Following horsemanship at 6:30 p.m., there will be clinics on applications, attire, make-up, hair, modeling, and public speaking. Girls will learn about attire with Janelle Baldwin, local sponsor and Miss Rodeo America clothing designer. Make-up and hair will be addressed by professional hairstylists and make-up artists. These professionals will help demonstrate proper hairstyles and make-up application when performing, racing, modeling, and speaking in public.
Savannah Cay Martinez will be leading the clinic, but girls will also have the chance to gain additional advice and expertise from Danielle Mayer, 2013 Larimer County Fair & Rodeo Lady-in-Waiting, and Pelar Conaway, 2008 Larimer County Fair & Rodeo Queen.
This is a great chance for girls to gain the knowledge, experience and confidence it takes to be the 2014 Larimer County Fair & Rodeo Queen. For questions, contact Savannah at [email protected].
