Residents in and downstream of the High Park Fire burn area are cautioned to securely tie down and protect all propane tanks, even if tanks are located in areas which have not flooded in the past. Post-fire flooding is unpredictable and can be extreme. Leaking propane is extremely hazardous and can cause catastrophic explosions and fires.

If unsure, please contact your local fire department immediately for recommendations on how to secure your tank.
