We have an opportunity to continue to protect our open spaces by voting Yes on 1A. The Larimer County Open Lands Program has funded and manages our open spaces at Red Mountain and Eagle’s Nest and restores rivers, streams and wildlife habitat across the county.
We work with local landowners who want to enter into conservation easements to keep our working ranches and farms. For many of us, agriculture is our way of life and we need to keep this special place so our kids and grandkids can know what it is to work the land.
Join with me in voting yes on 1A to keep the funding for the Open Lands program in place. There is no tax increase. It’s a great investment for the future.
