The next Roadmap to Recovery meeting is set for Thursday, Dec. 13, at 6:30 p.m.in the first-floor Commissioners Meeting Room at the Larimer County Administration Building, 200 W. Oak St., Fort Collins. The meeting is free and open to the public.
This is the fifth meeting in the series for High Park and Woodland Heights Fire survivors, presented by United Policyholders. It will focus on mortgage issues, including working with your lender to release insurance proceeds, and the social-emotional side of coping with a catastrophic property loss.
Guest speakers will talk about what helped them “heal and deal” with the emotional challenges of recovering from wildfires that destroyed their homes.
A question-and-answer period and insurance interest group breakout sessions — an opportunity to network with other fire survivors — will both follow the presentation.
More information and videos of previous meetings are available at www.larimer.org/highparkfire/.
