Drinking and general knowledge enthusiasts all over town have been participating in the free, fast-paced pub quizzes hosted by Geeks Who Drink. The interactive games include a variety of questions from math, hair metal, science, 60’s cartoons, wordplay, and foreplay – just to name a few. Local quizmaster Andy Manshel, who started with the company five years ago, produces a large portion of the content, and conducts most of the quizzes around town. Originating in Denver, the edgy competition is a nationwide phenomena and extremely popular in Fort Collins, filling venues to capacity. Geeks Who Drink hosts unique thematic rounds six nights a week at various bars, breweries and restaurants. For times and locations, search for your city on geekswhodrink.com and “like” the NoCo Geeks Who Drink on Facebook. Their next special event in Fort Collins is an all Breaking Bad quiz on Sept. 25.
