I had no clue that such a group even existed! And then I met Robert, a professionally trained stroker living in Fort Collins. Robert took the OneTaste© full day stroker training to learn how to stroke a strokee.
OM (pronounced “ohh-mmm”) stands for Orgasmic Meditation. It’s a 15 minute timed practice where a partner stokes the clitoris very lightly. It’s an energy-focused practice like yoga for your orgasm. OMing is a profound source of power that you can have whether you’re single or coupled and people in our city are choosing to practice this meditation in intimate, safe, private “nests.”
“It really encourages the woman to concentrate on how her body responds to sexual touch,” says Robert. “There is no agenda. It’s about getting in tune with one’s self.”
So, what does the man get out of OMing? According to Robert, it’s a privilege.
“During the 15 minute session, I get to watch and feel the sacred space of this particular woman,” mentions Robert. “Every woman is unique.”
It’s a combination of physical, spiritual and energetic connection. If climax happens, it happens – but that is not the goal.
Robert indicates that the practice really removes the “pornographic charge” associated with a woman’s genitals. It’s more about focusing energy and meditation with a physical connection between two people for 13 minutes of stroking and 2 minutes of down stroking.
There is no exchange of money and everyone involved must honor the pure yes and the pure no.
