Shields Street (CR 17) between Willox Ave. and State Highway 287 will be closed between November 21 and 25 in order to install a segment of Greeley’s new pipeline to the Bellvue Water Treatment Plant.
Known as the “northern segment” this is the last section of pipe to be installed in Larimer County.
“When it is completed in the winter of 2016-17, water can be delivered to Greeley through this new pipe,” Dan Moore, of the city of Greeley Water and Sewer Department said. Two existing 27-inch pipes will continue to deliver water to Greeley.
