Watch Me Fly is Susannah’s first album, and is composed with a strong, harmonic voice. Her songs are upbeat, simple and progressive. Lyrics about sunny skies, mountains, campfires, microbrews, doin’ okay, and being together in heaven are very appropriate for dancing under the summer sun at a Colorado music festival – folky, funky, jam-band, grassy. The album features many well-known artists including Bill Nershi and Kyle Hollingsworth (The String Cheese Incident), Andy Thorn (Leftover Salmon & Emmitt Nershi Band), Chris Thompson, Joe Lessard (Head for the Hills), and many more. The album is refreshing, encompassing many different sounds and melodies, providing a successful first feat for Susannah.
