Sustainable Living Fair keynote speaker Joel Salatin has rescheduled his talk for Nov. 9 at Lincoln Center in Fort Collins.
Flooding cancelled the fair where Salatin was to speak. The fair, put on by Sustainable Living Association, was to have been held Sept. 14 and 15 in Legacy Park near the Cache la Poudre River.
Salatin, whose Polyface farm in the Shenendoah Valley of Virginia was featured in Michael Pollan’s best-selling book “The Omnivore’s Dilemma,” describes himself as a third-generation alternative farmer who has figured out how to “make a white-collar salary from a pleasant life in the country.”
Event time, ticket price and sales will be announced on Oct. 1 at www.sustainablelivingassociation.org.
