Wolverine Farm Publishing, the proprietors of Matter Bookstore and publishers of the literary journal Matter, are ringing in 2011 with a new name: “The Year of the Poet.” In a show of support for the poetic arts and locally burgeoning poets, they have launched a “Year of the Poet” Book Club and will also host events throughout the year, including chapbook-making workshops, writing workshops and poetry readings.
