Fort Collins based Sustainable Schools International is hosting its first local fundraiser to benefit school children in rural Cambodia. To Cambodia with Love is an Adventure Travel and Asian Art Auction held on Saturday, Sept. 7 from 7-10pm at New Belgium Brewing, 500 Linden St. SSI is a local non-profit drawing attention to the fact that back-to-school is not always a given in the developing world. The event will feature Cambodian cuisine, complimentary New Belgium beer, a live auction of exotic and adventurous travel experiences, and a fabulous silent auction showcasing international dinners and unique Southeast Asian art. This event will bring globally conscious people together for an evening that will make a difference on the other side of the world.
