The League of Women Voters of Larimer County will host a candidates forum on Monday, March 24, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Leeper Center, 3800 Wilson Ave. in Wellington. The forum will provide voters an opportunity to hear from the candidates for Wellington mayor and board of trustees.
Candidates Jack Brinkhoff and Arlene Schiffman are seeking a four-year term as Wellington’s mayor.
There are ten candidates for the Wellington Board of Trustees, including Raymond Billington, Mishie Daknis, Barry Friedrichs, Travis Harless, Ashley Macdonald, Jim McIntosh, Matthew Michel, David Noe, Tim Singewald and Robert Williams.
The top three trustee candidates with the greatest number of votes will be elected to four-year terms. The trustee candidate with the fourth most votes will be elected to a two-year term.
Those attending the forum should arrive by 6:45 p.m., if they wish to submit written questions for the candidates.
