Wellington Senior Center update for Oct. 2013

Our Center is growing! We welcome nine new members. Trudy went on a long overdue vacation.

Oct. 2, Blood pressure readings 11 a.m. to noon.
Oct. 4, SALT meeting, 10 a.m. Come and find out what’s going on in town.
Oct. 11,We play cards after lunch.
Oct. 18,We offer flu shots from 10 to 11 a.m.
Oct. 25,We play bingo after lunch. Bring a small snack to share and a white elephant gift.
Oct. 29,We do crafts at 11 a.m.. Bring your own lunch and join us for a few laughs.

Exercise is every Wednesday at 9 a.m. Don’t forget to bring water.

Our next fundraiser will be at the Center on Dec. 7. We do plan on serving lunch. Watch for more information on this. Jerry Ross from the band and his wife, Cathy, have moved to Windsor. We will miss him. He promises to come back once a month to play for us.

We serve lunch on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at noon. For reservations, call Volunteers of America at 970-472-9630 by 1 p.m. the day before.
