We play cards after lunch on the first Monday of every month. On the first Wednesday of the month, Elderhaus provides us with free blood pressure screening before lunch. On the first Friday of the month, we have a SALT meeting at 10 a.m. followed by lunch at noon. Note that we now play Bingo after lunch on the last Wednesday of the month.
We have outings planned for May. Remember that we serve lunch at noon on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Call to learn about the outings we have planned. The aluminum you bring for our recycling is welcome any time.
For lunch reservations, please call Volunteers of America at 970-472-9630 the day before by 1 p.m. Call Trudy Patterson at 970-817-2293 Monday, Wednesday or Friday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. for information about activities.
A big thank you to Country Rose for the cake they donated to us. Also, we’d like to thank Nina who gave the Senior Resources Center 37 afghans to be presented to the veterans who live at Parkwood Estates. Jennifer and Josh Griffin of the Filling Station deserve our thanks for all they do for us.
