Beginning Sunday, Aug. 12, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will begin a concrete slab replacement project on I-25 from mile marker (MM) 257 at Johnstown to MM 290 south of the Colorado/Wyoming border. Crews will be removing and replacing damaged and broken concrete on I-25 throughout the length of the project and by performing these basic repairs, CDOT will be able to extend the life of the interstate by preventing further concrete damage that will cost more to fix in the future.
This coming week, crews will be working on southbound I-25 from MM 262, the same exit as State Highway 392/Windsor, to MM 265 at Harmony Road.
Throughout the project, work will take place Sunday nights through Friday mornings from 8 p.m. to 6 p.m. each evening. Delays will be minimal and the speed limit through the work zone will be reduced from 75 MPH to 45 MPH.
