More than 800 miles of road on our route, where in the NFN are we?

PHOTO BY Blaine Howerton. Where in the North Forty is this?

North Forty News drives more than 800 miles each month to deliver to more than 90 news stands throughout Northern Colorado. Down highways and up really windy roads. Over passes, through traffic lights, and on-foot going door to door through urban centers like downtown Fort Collins.

It’s a blast and it’s scenic too. From dirt to asphalt and everything in between, we are committed to getting the news out. Usually, we deliver to our news stands on the first week of the month. And it’s extremely gratifying to hear from our readers as we do it. Often, they are standing right behind us, waiting to grab the “hot off the press” edition.

We pile up thousands of copies into our cars, in the back of a Prius, behind the lift gate of a Pathfinder, in the passenger seat of an Audi. This mom and pop local publication is committed, and we love what we do! That’s why we crank up the music and stop every once in awhile to snap a photo.

North Forty News figures, “hey, why not have a little MORE fun?” That’s why we decided to ask our readers where in the NFN do they think we are? Just like hearing from our readers at the news stands, we love hearing from you on email. Send us your guesses about where you think the above photo was taken. [email protected].

We’ll give the first five of you 12 FREE issues of North Forty News (that’s a $39 value)! If you’re already a subscriber – BONUS! We’ll add 12 issues to your existing subscription.

Last month’s photo (below) was on County Road 69 between Red Feather Lakes and Poudre Canyon.

County Road 69 leads the way to Poudre Canyon heading South from Red Feather. The scenic drive is part of the 800 miles driven each month by North Forty News to deliver to our news stands.
