Kathryn Louise Bridges of Wellington left us too soon on May 16, 2015 after a six-month courageous battle with lung cancer.
Kathy was born on June 15, 1954 and spent her entire life in Colorado where she succeeded at being a great mother, sister, wife and friend to so many.
She married Curtis Bridges on September 21,1991 and moved to Lookout Mountain, home of Clydesdale Corners.
Kathy and Curtis built a custom dream home and barn of 50 acres outside Wellington where they and their Clydesdales have resided since 2004.
Kathy worked for the past 10 years as a legal assistant for the Fort Collins City Attorney’s office.
Kathy is preceded in death by her father, Robert, and survived by mother, Mary Lou; brothers Jay and Steve; sons Drew and Austin; daughter-in-law Nichole; grandsons Anthony and Nicholas and granddaughter Aubrey; husband Curtis – along with her two dogs Blu and Emma.
Kathy is now riding her favorite white horse Sweetie under the direction of her Lord Jesus Christ in the wide open field of heaven. From there we know she will be watching us and in our hearts always. We love you so much.
A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 1005 Stover in Fort Collins on May 22 at 11 a.m.
