Sue Sagar passed away unexpectedly on April 25, 2012. Born in Canadian, Okla., Sue earned her bachelor’s degree in 1962 and taught elementary school in Denver. She married Wayne Sagar in 1965 and they made their home in rural Fort Collins in 1973.
After Wayne became a pilot for Pan American Airlines, they travelled the world together and lived in Berlin, Germany, for three years. After returning to the U.S., they continued farming until Wayne passed away in 2001.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathryn (Thad), Dawn (Nance), and sisters Laverne, Gaytha (Bob), Loretta (Durwood), and brother Mitch (Shelli), and many nieces and nephews. Sue will be remembered for many practical jokes and antics, her laughter and her love for friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Larimer County Food Bank, in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 650 W. Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO, 80526.
