The annual 4-H Carnival will be held March 17 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the First National Bank Exhibition Hall at The Ranch, the Larimer County Fairgrounds in Loveland. This family friendly event is celebrating its 53rd year as a major fundraiser for the local 4-H clubs.
Dozens of booths, created and operated by the 4-H members and their families, feature games, prizes, food and lot of fun. Two auctions highlight the day with numerous prizes donated from area merchants. There are also door prizes and grand prizes available to those who purchase advance tickets through a 4-H member at a cost of $1 each. During the carnival, tickets may be exchanged for five booth tickets and also serve as an entry to the drawings.
Door-prize tickets may also be purchased at the door. There is no admission and parking is free.
An Artisan Craft Show will be held in the same location from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with booths featuring hand-crafted items by local artisans and crafters.
Proceeds from both events go to the 4-H foundation and help support 4-H youth programs, events, scholarships and activities.
For more information about buying advance tickets, contact Rod or Beth Johnson at 970-667-1112.
