  1. I think it’s important to note that Bike Fort Collins is not just a riding club. It’s our chief local advocacy organization in town. It does a lot of education and advocacy throughout Fort Collins. And if there’s a new bike program in town (such as the Bicycle Friendly Driver program, the Bike Ambassadors, the Bike Library, etc.), BFC was probably at the heart of it from the inception.
And Bike Fort Collins is always looking for volunteers to help it get its message out. If you’d like to get more involved in bicycle advocacy and education in the city, I’d strongly recommend heading over to their website and signing up for their monthly newsletter which includes upcoming events, news, and volunteer opportunities.
There’s also CFI – Coalition for Infrastructure, which is where a lot of local discussion on bike, ped, and transit infrastructure takes place. https://www.facebook.com/groups/fococfi/?fref=ts
And there’s a bike blog that’s part of the Scoop Blog Network that I just started a little under a year ago called Pedal Fort Collins. http://pedalfortcollins.com/
