Celebrate the New Year at Chapel in the Pines

Celebrate the arrival of the New Year in a family setting at Chapel in the Pines on the evening of Dec. 31. All ages are invited to a traditional New Year’s Eve Night from 8:30 p.m. until a bit after midnight.

Meet neighbors, relax as the calendar rolls by and share in welcoming a new year. Board games, family movies, craft activities, and conversations will fill the evening until a brief interfaith service welcomes the new year.

Each family group is asked to bring a snack to share. The church will provide cocoa, soft drinks, tea and coffee, plus sparkling cider at midnight. Families are encouraged to bring a sleeping bag or blanket if they expect a young child to fall asleep during the evening. A sleeping room is provided near the main activities.

Chapel in the Pines, an interdenominational church, is located on the south side of County Rd 74E in Red Feather Lakes. Enter the western driveway and follow the signs to the Fellowship Hall.
