Fort Collins’ newest cider establishment is now open at 216 North College Ave. After nearly a year in the works, the relaxed new cider lounge celebrated their grand opening on Valentine’s Day and is now in full swing serving world-class artisan ciders, paired with carefully designed plates by executive chef David Daggett. Compass and their sister company, Blossomwood Cider and Orchard of Cedaredge, CO., have created a distinct menu of ciders listed from driest to sweetest. Master cider maker, Toby Osborn, has partnered with Blossomwood’s master cider maker Shawn Carney to bring in one of the largest selections of traditional cider apples in the nation. Recently, they were the first Cidery to participate in “The Taste” fundraiser for the Larimer County Food Bank. Find them on their website at www.compasscider.com and “like” them on Facebook. They even have a secret menu. Pssst! Ask for the Silky Sailor.
