Alisa Darrow, assistant town administrator for the town of Wellington, has fulfilled the requirements of the Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) Program of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, and has earned official CMC designation.
“It has been an eight-year professional journey,” Darrow said. The designation requires the handling of four core duties which include general management, elections, meeting administration, management of legal documents, human resource and financial management, among other duties. Darrow was also required to complete work in education and experience categories.
She will continue her professional journey as she works toward certification as a Master Municipal Clerk.
