The Elder Care Network of Larimer County is holding its second annual Elder Care Resource Day on Saturday, March 31. A Day of Learning for Family Caregivers takes place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Timberline Church, 2908 S. Timberline Road in Fort Collins.
Speakers from both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors will present and answer audience questions on five different tracks. Anyone providing care for loved ones can choose to learn about How to Navigate through Family Dynamics; End of Life Planning; Taking care of Your — Self Care for Family Caregivers; Alzheimer’s and Dementia; and/or Options: Living and Financial.
ECN is a nonprofit organization encompassing 70 members from 60 companies and organizations that provide services for seniors in 18 categories in the medical, legal, financial and home care sectors.
Admission to the Day of Learning costs $10 and includes continental breakfast and box lunch. Respite care is also available at reduced rates with advance registration.
