Elder Care Network offers April 15 seminar on advanced directives

Elder Care Network of Northern Colorado will present its monthly free educational series April 15, this time featuring the legal issues of medial decision making, including options for communicating your wishes regarding medical care.

The seminar starts at 5 p.m. at Harmony Library at Front Range Community College in Fort Collins.

Topics include the role and benefit of a medical power of attorney and how you tailor this legal document to reflect your individual wishes. Various types of advanced directives including living wills, CPR directives, DNR orders and the new Colorado Medical Orders for Scope of Treatment (MOST form) will be discussed.

Elder Care Network of Northern Colorado is a Colorado registered nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the senior community with a variety of monthly education classes presented by our professional members.
