A used book sale to benefit Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic is planned for June 15 at The Eclectic Reader. Adoptable cats and kittens will also be on site, as well as the bookstore’s own cat, Monty, who was rescued during the High Park Fire last year.
Select used books donated specifically to benefit the cat rescue will be available for purchase, with 50 percent to 100 percent of the proceeds from those books going to FCCRSNC. The book sale will be held during the store’s normal Saturday business hours, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., at The Eclectic Reader, 1031 S. Taft Hill Road, Fort Collins.
Adoptable cats and kittens from Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic will be available at the bookstore from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The normal adoption fees range from $50 to $150 depending on the cat’s age, but these fees will be discounted by $10 from June 11-16 in celebration of Adopt a Shelter Cat Month.
For more information about the book sale, contact The Eclectic Reader at 970-493-7933, e-mail [email protected]. More information about Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic can be found on its website at www.FCCRSNC.org or by visiting the shelter at 2321 E. Mulberry St. #1 in Fort Collins.
