Haven’t figured out a way to spend Father’s Day? Why not go for a run? This family-oriented 5K is hosted in Old Town Fort Collins by Primrose School on Sunday, June 17th starting at 8 a.m., and is a great way to celebrate a wonderful dad. After the 5K, youth 12 and under can enjoy a Kids’ Fun Run that is either a mile or a half-mile and this year tech shirts are included with each registration! When the events are finished go ahead and hang around for a well deserved popsicle and enjoy the company of families celebrating fathers. Proceeds from the 5K go to support the reduced or no-fee youth programs and adaptive recreation programs that are held through the City of Fort Colllins’ Recreation Department.
