Grant Farms expects to donate 125,000 pounds of potatoes to the area’s food banks this weekend (Oct. 1 & 2). Volunteers at the farm’s annual Harvestival will harvest five acres of potatoes for this donation. The food banks include Care and Share, Food Bank of Larimer County, and Community Food Share.
Harvestival will include family-friendly activities, full musical line-up, educational workshops, food and goods vendor, and beer and wine garden. The recently re-painted chicken buses will be on display for Harvestival attendees.
